Alexandra Palm (Archontophoenix alexandrae) – Outdoor Plant Sydney

Alexandra Palm develops a tall trunk beneath a crown of arching fronds. Plan for its mature height and canopy when choosing a long-term garden position.

Size and options

Choose from the listed options: 200mm, 300mm. Check your selection before adding to cart. Sizes refer to nursery pots, not plant height.

Care and placement

• Light: A sheltered outdoor position with good light; acclimatise young plants to stronger sun.
• Water: Keep the root zone moist while establishing, with good drainage.
• Care: Allow room for a tall palm and spreading fronds. Protect young plants from frost and avoid damaging the growing tip.
