Bird's Nest Fern (Asplenium australasicum) – Indoor Plant Sydney

Bird's Nest Fern forms a rosette of broad green fronds. Choose it for filtered light, where its fresh growth is protected from hot sun and drying airflow.

Size and options

Listed pot size: 140mm. Pot size describes the growing container, not a guaranteed plant height.

Care and placement

• Light: Filtered light or sheltered shade, away from harsh sun and drying wind.
• Water: Keep the root zone lightly moist without leaving the pot standing in water.
• Care: Protect tender fronds from heater airflow and remove damaged growth. Check moisture more often during hot weather.
