Doodia Aspera (Rasp Fern) – Outdoor Plant Sydney

Doodia aspera, the Rasp Fern, has textured fronds and colourful young growth. It can add finer foliage to a sheltered garden bed or shaded container.

Size and options

Listed pot size: 200mm. Pot size describes the growing container, not a guaranteed plant height.

Care and placement

• Light: Filtered light or sheltered shade, away from harsh sun and drying wind.
• Water: Keep the root zone lightly moist without leaving the pot standing in water.
• Care: Protect tender fronds from heater airflow and remove damaged growth. Check moisture more often during hot weather.
