Alcantarea Imperialis Rubra – Outdoor Plant Sydney

Alcantarea Imperialis Rubra is a large rosette-forming bromeliad with burgundy tones. Leave space around the plant so its spreading leaves can be appreciated as it develops.

Size and options

Choose from the listed options: 300mm. Check your selection before adding to cart. Sizes refer to nursery pots, not plant height.

Care and placement

• Light: A bright, sheltered position; acclimatise gradually to stronger outdoor light.
• Water: Use a very free-draining mix and avoid standing water around the roots.
• Care: Where the leaf rosette holds water, refresh it regularly. Protect from frost and remove damaged outer leaves.
