Description
Description
NZ Flax, Phormium tenax, forms a clump of long, sword-shaped leaves. It adds structural foliage to garden beds and larger containers.
Size and options
Listed pot size: 200mm. Pot size describes the growing container, not a guaranteed plant height.
Care and placement
- Light: Sun to partial shade in soil that drains freely.
- Water: Water through establishment and check container-grown plants during dry spells.
- Care: Remove damaged leaves at the base. Leave space for the clump to spread rather than crowding a narrow path.
