Mission Olive Tree (Olea europaea) – Outdoor Plant Sydney

Mission Olive is grown for both table olives and oil. Its silver-green foliage can form a garden feature while the tree develops towards fruiting maturity.

Size and options

Listed pot size: 300mm. Pot size describes the growing container, not a guaranteed plant height.

Care and placement

• Light: Full sun in soil or a container with excellent drainage.
• Water: Water through establishment and during dry spells, especially in pots.
• Care: Prune to maintain shape and airflow. Fruit production depends on growing conditions and pollination; olives need processing before eating.
